I’ll be delighted to share with you my secret spots, making recomendations and getting you introduced to the local food. There will be plenty of opportunities for tasting and buying!
In 4h we’ll cover:
- Boqueria Food Market. Closed on Sundays and partially closed on Mondays and any day after 4pm. I’ll unveil for you the secrets of one of the best food markets in the whole world. Outstanding displays, local products and exotic food, all in one place!
- Next we’ll stroll around the Old Town stopping in
some of the best food stores: from 100yo shops that keep all the charm of the old times, to modern venues with top quality products.
The shop owners and assistants are usually very proud of their business and are happy to welcome people into their shops even if you aren’t going to buy anything, so don’t be shy and enjoy the experience of getting in touch with our city’s food treasures!
Transportation: 100% walking tour.
Tour is available Mon-Sat. Monday is the weakest day as the Boqueria Market is only partially active. In August many places are closed for holydays: the tour can still be run, but variety won’t be as exciting…
Recomended starting times: 9 or 10am (morning tour only – no tours in the afternoon).
